**ABOUT THIS POSITION**
Join YouthBuild Boston as an Data Coordinator, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing program data. As a key member of our team, you'll oversee day-to-day data needs, as well as required reporting to key external funders. Your efforts will contribute to the overall effectiveness of our programs, and ultimately enhance the success of YouthBuild Boston's mission to empower young individuals through education, job training, and leadership development. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Data Coordinator is responsible for data entry for all program data into YBB’s student database (Apricot/Bonterra Case Management), data reporting to external funders, and management of the student database. Depending on interest and experience, may also analyze program data and develop data visualizations.
**KEY TASKS**
Data Management
* Enter student information into database, including credentials, assessment results, program progress updates, and others.
* Upload files to electronic student records, including eligibility documentation.
* Export data from database and upload or enter into external databases.
Database Management
* Update, edit, and/or create new forms and reports in database.
* Generate reports in response to funder requests.
*Depending on skills and interests:*
*Data Analysis & Communication*
* *Create and/or design data visualizations.*
* *Analyze student assessment and other program data.*
**QUALIFICATIONS**
The Data Coordinator must engage deeply with a mission-driven non-profit organization. Qualified candidates will be very detail oriented and will have the desire and ability to collaborate across the entire organization.
General Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in data science or related field, or equivalent experience
* Practical experience managing data, data sets, and/or databases, whether work experience, research experience, or applied class project(s)
* Organized and detail-oriented
* Ability to work with data & database users across teams and departments, with customer service approach
* Comfortable working with diverse teams
* Tech-savvy, proficient in MS Office, Google Suite
