This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.
The Data Governance Team acts as a facilitator and coordinator of data governance, which serves as a key pillar to the HarbourVest Data & Analytics Program. The Analyst will be responsible for measuring data quality, performing root cause analysis, building data remediation plans, implementing data controls, reviewing, and maintaining data quality standards, as well as other activities oriented towards improving data management across the organization.

What you will do:* Monitor and report on data quality across the organization, particularly for designated Critical Data Elements
* Build and update data quality dashboards for respective data domains on a regular basis
* Participate in data quality issue root cause analysis and assist in designing action plans for remediation
* Partner with data stewards to deep dive into data quality issues
* Stay ahead of industry trends on data quality evaluation strategies, automation techniques and data visualization tools
* Leverage data management tools to enable business partners to realize value
What you bring:* Experience doing data analysis
* Strong analytical capabilities
* Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources
* Project team experience is a big plus
* Private equity and/or investment management industry experience is a plus
* Excellent organization skills
* Good time management capabilities
Education Preferred* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Experience:* 0-2 Years experience in an analyst level role preferred
