Global Advanced Solutions:

The Global Advanced Solutions organization provides key private and public client support in Financial Reporting, Advanced Solutions and Global Intelligence including ongoing client service on both Shareworks and Equity Edge Online, critical function support for equity administration, data and automation, reporting, tax and legal compliance and subject matter expertise in the respective areas. In addition, the Global Intelligence team provides clients with global legal and tax information related to equity compensation and assists companies to manage their tax withholding obligations.

Stock Plan Data Migration Specialist role:

The Project Specialist will play a pivotal role in the Advanced Solutions organization. The role is responsible for managing end-to-end projects for corporate clients and internal partners, focusing on operational support across equity administration platforms (EEO and SW).
Reporting to an Advanced Solutions Manager, the Stock Plan Data Migration Specialist ensures efficient and accurate execution of various projects (dependent on team services): automation, data conversion, process management, administration, or execution of assigned clients’ equity compensation programs. The role will require the rapid understanding of each client’s equity compensation plans to provide best in class services while on assignment.

The ideal candidate is technically proficient and possesses strong project management and communication skills. They excel in building relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, driving successful project outcomes and contributing to process enhancement and product development. With a focus on adaptability and continuous improvement, the Project Specialist thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of their responsibilities to ensure client success and satisfaction.

Stock Plan Data Migration Specialist Responsibilities

The successful candidate should have a combination of strategic and tactical problem-solving skills, be a self-starter and have strong technical experience with a proven track record of achieving success in a fast-paced, results-driven organization.
* Assists in the execution of data conversion projects both in the public and private sectors to convert from a competitor’s platform into one of Morgan Stanley’s equity administration platforms (Equity Edge Online® or Shareworks)

* Leads assigned projects and ensure project deliverables are on track for timely completion

* Builds strong client relationships through positive client interactions on project engagements
* Partners closely with a wide range of stakeholders including Sales and Marketing, Relationship Management, Client Services, Operations, Product, and Technology to ensure client satisfaction on all Advanced Solutions projects

* Partners with internal project leads and product managers to develop solutions for improving efficiencies, time spent on repetitive tasks and complex client issues

* Perform data analysis and complex reconciliations of data throughout the project

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required in business/finance or technology, computer science or related computer science experience is preferred

* 3+ years of demonstrated experience in data management in either Business consulting, and/or equity compensation administration

Expertise and hands on experience with SQL or other database management software strongly preferred
Strong technical understanding of equity compensation, including end-to-end processes such as HR, Compensation, and Payroll
Ability to proactively identify potential risks, and issues, while developing a course of action to resolve
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to problem solve, learn quickly, share knowledge, multi-task and adapt to constantly changing priorities
Working knowledge of equity-related accounting, tax, and legal concepts, both US and Global strongly preferred

* Knowledge of Equity Edge Online®, Shareworks, Certent, Carta, BAML or other equity plan recordkeeping systems preferred

* Proven success in developing innovative solutions to complex client needs

* Level 1 CEP preferred, not required
