**Client Overview:**
Vernovis is partnering with a leading organization to identify a skilled IT Project Manager who can drive large-scale projects to successful completion.
**What You'll Do:**
* Manage day-to-day operations of large-scale IT projects, ensuring alignment with PMI and PMBOK principles.
* Oversee all aspects of project management, including procurement, schedule, scope, cost, and risk management, ensuring best practices across PMI’s nine knowledge areas.
* Ensure effective execution of project governance, change management, and vendor management processes.
* Identify and address process gaps, implementing corrective actions to support continuous improvement.
* Maintain strong communication, address issues tactfully, and ensure compliance with standard policies and procedures.
**What Experience You'll Have:**
* Bachelor's degree or higher in science or engineering, with 3-5+ years of project management experience in the IT industry.
* Proven success managing infrastructure and software development projects, including initiatives over $3M and teams of 20+.
* Strong experience with project management tools (Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Jira) and proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Excel.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong focus on detail and results-oriented project execution.
**What Experience is Nice to Have:**
* PMP Certification
* Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green, Black)
* Master's degree in project management, business, or a related field
