Advantage Tech is seeking an Sr. Engineer to work remotely for a client of theirs, based out of Kansas City, Mo.
The core of this client is data and they developed a foundational data model that powers everything we do. You will become intimately familiar with the model to understand how data moves in and out of it and how it works with the many ingress and egress platforms.

**Description:**
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be a key player in maintaining and developing our Enterprise Customer Data Infrastructure (ECDI) platform. You’ll work on enhancing and innovating our platform, ensuring scalability and reliability while making a direct impact on our clients’ success. In addition to supporting day-to-day client engagements, this role participates in the product management and solution lifecycle to design, implement and scale our products and services.
**Responsibilities:**
• Be our go-to expert on data pipelining using SQL transformations.
• Develop predictive client data models to enhance customer workflows.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for high-performing, reliable insights.
• Expand our library of custom Python modules.
• Implement JavaScript-based web tags for tracking and analytics.
• Manage our cloud platform stack, balancing functionality and cost-efficiency.
• Create effective logging and error handling processes for swift issue resolution.
• Discover problems, innovate solutions, and deliver new functionality with a self-driven mindset.
• Mentor and advise your peers on best engineering practices.
**Background:**
• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience: 3-5 years in software development, with a focus on event-driven web applications, backend services using REST endpoints, and cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• You must be authorized to work in the US
**Skills:**
* Python and data science

* Strong communication skills for translating technical work to user requirements
• Preferred:
* Google Cloud certifications
* Experience with Kubernetes, VertexAI, Google Colab, Firebase

* Data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.)
* Customer Data Platforms (Rudderstack, Lytics, Treasure Data)
* Node.js web application development
* Experience in media or ad tech
* A knack for being customer-facing and a drive to innovate for our clients
