We are looking for a
**Software Developer I**
to join our
**Technical Operations**
team.
The senior software developer will be part of an agile development team, building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the JAVA development stack. The senior software developer will contribute to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
**Core Responsibilities**
The software developer will be part of an agile development team, building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the JAVA development stack.
The software developer will:
* Develop and implement client/server and web-based Java applications to support business requirements
* Follow approved life cycle methodologies
* Perform coding and testing
* Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* A minimum of 3 years of Software Development experience
* Knowledge of Java/JEE, JSON, XML, REST, MVC frameworks, design patterns
* Working knowledge of object-oriented design and development skills
* Experience using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
* Experience writing, modifying, and debugging software
* Experience providing tier 2/3 support to clients
* Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
* Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
* Experience analyzing information, performing software testing, and troubleshooting
* Experience with documenting application processes
* Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
* Collaborate with team members to scope development effort and provide reliable resource and timeline estimates
