**Job Title: Front End Developer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced front-end developer to join our software development team in Northfield/Chicago, IL. This position is responsible for designing and implementing solutions for various business initiatives and product development. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, pleasant to collaborate with, and constantly seeking to improve and expand their skills.

Responsibilities:

* Design, code, test, deploy, and support software for product and commerce needs.
* Troubleshoot and resolve software defects within product development.
* Participate in code reviews.
* Foster DevOps adaptation by the team.
* Navigate ambiguous and complex business problems.
* Understand and apply TDD, Pair programming, and Mob programming concepts.
* Adhere to established coding standards.
* Facilitate design meetings with users, management, and architects.
* Analyze production issues to determine root cause and course of action for resolution.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices.
* Write documentation to ensure proper use of software systems.

Hard Skills

* Bachelor's degree
* 7+ years experience in React.js 16+ and Next.js
* Server-side rendering (SSR)
* Cloud experience (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable)
* CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins

Soft Skills

* Self-motivated
* Pleasant to collaborate with
* Constantly seeking to improve and expand skills

Work Environment

Work from home every day except Thursdays. May need to come in more if project requires, but the normal schedule is 4 WFH, 1 in-office. Working in matrixed teams of 8 (Front End Developers, Test Engineers, Full Stack Developers, and Back End Developers).
