Description:
This position is for a Senior Software (Python) Engineer in either Aurora, CO or King of Prussia, PA. This role requires full time in office support. You will get to work closely with our team of excellent engineers who are eager to mentor and teach their craft and have the opportunity to work with members of our Leadership team to learn about other areas of interest to you.

Salary Information
The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000-$180,000. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline only. Stratagem considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Python developer with experience in NGA SAR formats, including CPHD and SICD, and is proficient with NGA’s sarpy library.

• Experience in NGA SAR formats, including CPHD and SICD
• Proficient with NGA’s sarpy library
• You’re excited about delivering end-to-end experiences and care about your software architecture across the back-end, front-end and the APIs that glue them together

• You collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions

Required skills:
• You have an active TS/SCI with SSBI
• You have 5+ years working experience
• Experienced Python developer
• Experience in NGA SAR formats, including CPHD and SICD
• Proficient with NGA’s sarpy library
• Proficiency with Source Control tools (e.g. Git)
• Experience with DevSecOps and Agile software development methodology including using Atlassian tools and GitLab
• Experience creating software tests to verify the functionality and quality of the software
• Ability to effectively work within a software engineering team
Desired skills (bonus points):
• Current IAT Level II or III certification (i.e., Security+, CISSP, or CASP)
• Experience with serverless AWS resources and the Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
• Experience with SAR image formation and image exploitation
• Experience with Government Clouds (e.g., GovCloud, C2S)
