Description:
LHH is partnering with a client to find an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team.
This role is onsite in Camarillo, CA and requires a Top-Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
• Set up, configure, and maintain the organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and both physical and virtual servers
• Monitor systems and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources
• Review system and application logs and ensure the completion of scheduled tasks, including system backups
• Analyze network and server resource usage and manage user access
• Install and upgrade software and manage software licenses
• Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
• Develop and set up automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Configure deployment pipelines for aircraft and produce release charts
.Qualifications
• 3 to 10 years of experience in the described responsibilities
• 3 years of cloud experience, particularly with Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3, and familiarity with Azure or GCP cloud platforms
• Experience with cloud storage solutions and data migration processes
• 3 years of experience with DevOps and related tools, focusing on CI/CD pipelines and agile DevOps workflows
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• 3 years of experience with containerization, orchestration, and micro-services architecture, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• 3 years of experience with version control, particularly Git and GitOps workflows
• Basic to intermediate programming skills and experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent tools
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C+, C++, C#, ASP.NET Core, Visual Studio, HTML, CSS, and SQL
• 3 years of experience with security standards, particularly IL6+ compliance, and working with sensitive systems
• Experience with data migration between different storage systems and zero-downtime deployment strategies
• 3 years of experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack
• Experience working in agile methodologies and as a Scrum team member
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both formal and informal, and the ability to work independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams)
