About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Strategic Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT operations excellent collaboration and communication skills defining and implementing KPIs and project managing strategic initiatives. This role will be pivotal in managing business communications for escalations and day-to-day monitoring as well as creating processes to enable seamless operations across all teams.
**Supervisory Responsibilities:**
* This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Foster strong working relationships across departments to ensure cohesive and efficient operations
* Act as a liaison between IT and other business units to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration
* Ensure KPIs align with overall business objectives and drive continuous improvement
* Handle business communications for escalation ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues
* Oversee day-to-day monitoring of IT operations identifying and addressing potential problems before they escalate
* Develop and maintain communication protocols and processes to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
* Design and implement processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency across all team; continuously evaluate and refine processes to adapt to changing business needs and industry best practices
**Skills/Abilities:**
* Proven experience in defining and managing KPIs and metrics.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle escalations calmly and efficiently
* Experience in process creation and improvement with a record of accomplishment of implementing successful operational changes
**Education and Experience:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
* 3-4 years of experience in IT operations with a focus on strategic operations management.
* 3-4 years’ experience in project and program management.
**Physical Requirements:**
* Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
