Description:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior UI Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will collaborate with our design and development teams to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our Digital Banking web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a passion for user-centered design principles and a strong eye for visual aesthetics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the design of user interfaces for Digital Banking products including web, mobile, and other digital platforms, ensuring both visual design and user experience meet high standards

Collaborate with senior designers and cross-functional teams to understand and define project requirements and implement innovative solutions

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-quality visual designs that effectively communicate interaction and functionality

Effectively communicate your ideas and collaborate with team members and stakeholders

Iterate on designs based on feedback from peers, stakeholders, and users to constantly improve usability and user experience

Assist in the creation of icons, graphics, illustrations, and animations, utilizing and maintaining style guides and design systems for a wide range of devices

Identify design and usability problems, devise elegant solutions, and participate in usability testing of design concepts

Support the development team throughout the implementation process, ensuring designs are faithfully executed and tested

Work closely with Holding Company Marketing to maintain brand standards

Conduct industry research and stay current on best practices, latest trends and emerging technologies in UI design and usability principles

Requirements:
**QUALIFICATIONS**

Holds or actively pursuing degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic/Visual Arts, HCI, or similar field (equivalent practical experience may be considered)

Strong understanding of UI design principles, typography, and color theory

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar

Basic understanding of front-end development languages (HTML, CSS) and frameworks (Bootstrap, etc.) preferred

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Understanding of user-centered design best practices

Understanding of mobile-first and responsive design preferred

Understanding of ADA Compliance and accessibility concerns

Knowledge of the industry's latest trends and technologies

Must be willing to help teammates, share knowledge with, and learn from them

Must be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism

Positive attitude, disciplined work ethic, and eagerness to learn and grow

A portfolio showcasing your UI design projects and process must be included
