**Position Summary**
Under the supervision of the Chief Technology Officer, the Regulatory Technology Developer will support management and staff, with trading system code development in compliance with Exchange rules and federal securities laws as well as system validation and modeling; internal audit of regulatory processes; data integrity and security management; report development; data and statistical analysis and reporting; and procedural documentation efforts.

**Position Duties**
* Develop a subject matter expert (“SME”) level of BOX facilities’ trading system functionality and data models.
* Assist in development of automated testing platform with regression testing library.
* Maintenance and troubleshooting of automated testing platform.
* Monitor regulatory changes, apply corrective actions and updates as needed.
* Analysis of federal securities laws, BOX Exchange rules; ability to translate to system specifications and recommendations.
* Work in tandem with Compliance team on testing system changes, problem solving of issues with stakeholders and reporting related test results and issue resolution to management within the scope and timeframes required.
* Maintain, validate, and update key reference documentation for ensuring accurate and auditable compliance tests and test results.
* Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal processes, ensure data integrity and security meet regulatory requirements.
* Assist with development and maintenance of accurate and current procedures for assigned functions; create and report updates to ensure accurate reflection of processes and controls.
* Prepare analytical reports, diagrams, or models as needed
* Other responsibilities include compiling, analyzing, or validating data and statistics, and/or assisting with documentation production, as otherwise assigned by management.

**Education**
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred or related field/compliance experience.

**Experience**
2\-5 years technical development experience preferred.

* Ability to read, analyze and understand laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Self\-starter, proactive and objective oriented.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines.
* Interpersonal skills to work effectively and collaboratively with persons from diverse backgrounds and at various organizational levels within and outside of BOX Exchange.
* Experience with Python, SQL, and Excel required.
